Here's what we're offering this year:
Cellar Door Summer Camp
This program, geared towards kids age 9-12, will begin in June and have six different sessions. Sessions will be held from 11 am-3 pm. Each session is themed after a book, and will include lunch, a copy of the book*, an activity with Crafty U Too, and a free water bottle ($85 per session):
- June 19th: The Jumbies
- July 10th: See You in the Cosmos
- July 31st: Harry Potter
- August 7th: The Wild Book
Main registration has closed. If you're still interested in joining one of our camps, please visit the store or call us at (951) 787-7807. If you would like to register for more than one session, please note that you will need to register for and purchase each individual session. For instance, to sign up for both the Harry Potter and See You in the Cosmos sessions, you will need to purchase two sessions.
Books and camp supplies will be available for pickup starting May 22nd.

Magic Tree House: Passport to Adventure Summer Camp
A camp for our early readers themed after the Magic Tree House series! Geared toward kids age 6-8, the camp will be held on Wednesdays on the following weeks (below) from 10-12 am. The paired books listed will be provided. ($100 per child; includes all sessions, books, and materials)
- July 11th: Animals
- Paired books: Balto of the Blue Dawn, Dog Sledding and Extreme Sports Fact Tracker
- July 18th: Nature
- Paired books: Afternoon on the Amazon, Rainforests Fact Tracker
- July 25th: Sports
- Paired books: A Big Day for Baseball, Baseball Fact Tracker
- August 1st: Heroes
- Paired books: A High Time for Heroes, Heroes for All Times Fact Tracker

Writing is a Superpower!
A brand-new creative writing camp for kids! Geared toward kids age 11-17, writing instructor Rachelle Cruz (MFA graduate and writer/editor of poetry collections and a comics textbook) will lead five 2-day sessions with exercises themed around superheroes.
Sessions will be held from 12 pm-2 pm; includes a snack and all necessary writing materials and resources. The camp will also culminate in an anthology and a publishing party and reading given by the writers! ($400 per child; includes all sessions)

Self-Expression Through Portrait & Journaling Worshop
Alicia is returning with her art classes for kids age 8-16! Students will create a series of self-portraits inspired by artists like Romare Bearden, Frida Kahlo, and Faith Ringold. Students will gain practice using a variety of techniques, forms, and mediums. Each portrait will be paired with a creative journal entry; portraits and journals will then be collected in a portfolio for the students to take home at the end! ($175 per child; includes all sessions plus materials. Space is limited and nonrefundable preregistration fee of $50 is required.)
Sessions will be held from 1-3 pm on July 23-24th, and 26th
Sessions will be held from 2:30-4:30 pm on Wedensday, July 25th and Friday, July 27th
